Not Easy Street/Turn Right at the Sign (poem)
Turn right at the sign
a little uncomfortable
seat cloth chafes
air is out, crack the window
set the cruise
road bumps jump
trees flash by
birds and critters boldly dash
no end in sight
no map in the glove box
eye on the gas gauge
lips dried and cracked
not stopping today though
it's the open road.
